If you’ve had your radar up about food trends in Los Angeles, you’ve probably heard about the food truck revolution that’s all the rage there, and you would probably have also heard about The Lime Truck by celebrity chef, Daniel Shemtob!

Chef Daniel Shemtob, CEO of The Lime Truck

The charismatic Chef Shemtob (ladies, he’s only 25 this year), was crowned winner on the second season of The Food Network’s “The Great Food Truck Race” and his concept is on fire, turning heads in L.A thanks to it’s bright cheery Lime exterior, and commitment to bringing fresh, wholesome creations made using organic produce. Well, this weekend (15 – 16 August 2014), as part of #FIJIWATERLIMETRUCK Pop-up, The Lime Truck will be turning heads here in our sunny island city.

For two days at Orchard Gateway, The Lime Truck will serve up three of it’s signature mexican style dishes at two locations, served with a bottle of refreshing FIJI Water at just $10 per dish.

The three signature dishes are:

  • Braised Pork Belly Taco with Tomatillo Pico de Gallo & Sriracha
  • Fresh Fish Ceviche Tostada
  • Blue Crab & Jicama Taco

FIJI Water, Chef Shemtob and Kerbside has teamed up to bring this initiative to life! Instead of bringing The Lime Truck all the way to Singapore, Kerbside Gourmet’s food truck, Kerby, will be painted a brilliant lime green to replicate the original “gourmet restaurant on wheels”. And yes, ladies, just in case you were wondering, Chef Shemtob will be on that truck as well dishing out his inventive recipes.
