So I’ve been trying out the Paleo lifestyle for almost 2 months now and I am seeing great results. One thing that I have discovered is that going Paleo can be pretty expensive in Singapore. I had to do frequent runs to the supermarket to get my groceries for my dose of meat, vegetables and shirataki noodles.

You would also know that I’m an advocate for supplements so I went a little cray cray at iHerb when my friend told me about how there is a standard $4USD international shipping charge for up to 14 pounds! I used to buy my supplements from Drugstore.com and even though I made great savings, the shipping charges from Borderlinx can be really expensive.

Because you can’t take the beauty blogger out of me, I also got my Real Techniques Your Base/Flawless Expert Face Brush and Real Techniques Your Base/Flawless Base Core Collection by Samantha Chapman. I can’t wait to use them after hearing the rave reviews about them.

Another thing that I really like about iHerb is that they pack your fragile stuff securely. I hate to receive smashed items from my package and I get that often from my Drugstore.com orders (RIP my poor smashed eyeshadows!). Plus points for iHerb!

Because peanut is considered as legume, peanut butter is a no no for me then. Here’s my paleo alternative – Artisana 100% Raw Organic Almond Butter!

I paid about $140USD after discount for 17 whopping items. I think it’s a really good deal considering how expensive supplements and organic products can be in Singapore. Every penny saved is a penny earned! If you use the code FMJ133, you can get up to $10 off your first iHerb order. Happy shopping!
